    is out now on amazon prime.

    I watched it a couple hours ago, I'd say it's better than the original. the last 20-30 mins was the best stretch and saved the movie imo..don't wanna ruin anything but the end was great.

    It's different than I expected and for a while I was kinda meh, not sure I'd end up enjoying it..some hilarious scenes throughout but mainly in the last half hour.

    Curious to hear what others here think when they see it.

    I wasnt a fan of the first one at all i thought it was dumb as f---, this one is better than the first one because it has more to do with current events. I liked the song performance at the rally and the end of it also, the daughter was funny also when she found out about masturbating but thats about all the laughs i had

    just finished this was pretty okay found it a bit hard to get into as times have changed since the first one dropped few funny scenes but felt a bit short

    thought the best parts were the recap at the beginning and...

    the whole ending sequence really, i wasn't expecting a twist in f---in Borat of all movies so that surprised me lol, then that final reporting sequence with his daughter and the Americans was great too.

    Prob gonna watch this tonight. Rewatched the first one for the first time since I saw it in theaters a month or two ago and it holds up well.

    Funny as h--- and is spot on with exposing how ignorant and hateful my fellow Americans are. Trumpists will be triggered and claim it’s liberal Hollywood garbage. They just can’t handle being exposed and mocked for the ignorant assholes they are.

    U guys are nuts. I agree the last hour is inspired with Rudy and the virus Ya. But it’s nowhere near as classic or hilarious as the original lol

    it’s like what Tyler said about mmlp2, always ugly when the greats try to recapture a moment

    Sacha backed himself into a corner when it came to the point everyone knew who he was.

    The show he did in America last year (?) was very well done but nothing he ever does will reach the genius level of Ali G

    I thought it was written better than the original, also more interesting due to the current political scene and society..

    With that said the first probably had some funnier scenes, I dunno..I'll always have great memories of the first one, saw it with like 10 people and had a great time lol. Thought the 2nd was better overall though, ending was way better.

    They cover this a bit in the movie.

    Also in case anyone here hasn't seen it, the stuff on da ali g show is imo better than most of the stuff in either movie..So definitely check out Da Ali G show if you haven't seen it already.

    Lmaoooo so happy that song scene was in there. I remember hearing about that at the beginning of the summer long before we knew a Borat sequel was coming out. He payed for the security at that event so they couldn’t throw him of stage when they figured out what was going on lol

    This is basically a rehash of the original but without the subtle political thread in the background, this one is on the nose. It is about current events but that makes it only interesting today at best. The original poked fun at universal and timeless people's prejudice and agendas, it is relevant at all times.

    And you're right, its better written because it IS written. Most of the interviews here are edited to have them say what they want, and reactions are not spontaneous and sincere like in the original.

    And its just not funny at all. This type of humor does not work today. We've already seen everything in the original.
