    Ive just recently started watching BB nearly finished season 2 & will watching The Wire after that so obviously I can't decide yet which is better.

    Breaking Bad is the goat I guess. Currently on 8th episode of 4th Season of the Wire and it's very good I can tell ya but still Breaking Bad is my alltime fav and probably will be remain his position as my fav for so long.

    Fundamentally the Wire is better. However I believe BB to be more entertaining. I watch TV to be entertained thus I like BB better.

    It's like comparing apples to oranges there is no correct answer. They are both excellent shows and my 2 fav shows of all time.

    I also wanna shoutout Fargo, Hannibal, the missing, sopranos, true detective season 1 as also being up there with quality television.

    The wire, The show was so gritty and it really depicted how things truly are. Awesome show. Breaking bad has the entertainment value of like s--- blowing up and stuff. The wire has like the plot value and realism

    I only seen a handful of episodes of The Wire back in the day; so I can't have an opinion just yet

    but I love BB
