Jul 31, 2021 I'll just let @reservoirGod do the arguments for me like every other thread like this lol
Jul 31, 2021 Res doesn't need someone to argue with he just posts 5 times in a row answering himself np
Jul 31, 2021 Try debating me... I have the truth on my side and I'm smarter and have more wit than someone coming from the losing side. 75% of adults are vaccinated in Massachusetts. Basically everyone. Vaccination rate for over 65 years old in Massachusetts is listed at 100%. The effective rate of the vaccine is around 90% so, there is still a 10% chance you will get the virus if you are vaxxed. So, far 4 of the vaxxed in this outbreak have been hospitalized... 0 have died. The overwhelming majority are asymptomatic because the vaccine almost reduces the symptoms to null. In other news... 38,776 new cases of COVID19 in Florida yesterday... and 183 deaths.
Jul 31, 2021 I'm just kidding about ur posting bro you don't have to convince me, (finally) getting my 2nd Pfizer thursday
Jul 31, 2021 @Jet✞ I'm not using the Washington Post article because I don't have a subscription and can't read it and my assumption is that neither of you two have a subscription and didn't read the article either lol. But here's the same report from a diff site: https://www.cnbc.com/2021/07/30/cdc...tts-covid-outbreak-were-fully-vaccinated.html "While the delta variant continues to hit unvaccinated people the hardest, some vaccinated people could be carrying higher levels of the virus than previously understood and are potentially transmitting it to others" "While numerous studies have shown that the vaccines don’t work as well against the delta variant as they did against other strains, health officials say they are still highly effective, especially in protecting against severe illness and death. Roughly 97% of new hospitalizations and 99.5% of deaths in the U.S. are among unvaccinated individuals, U.S. health officials repeated this week." Is this significant? Of course it is! The vax doesn't work as well against delta as they hoped, but but it's still saving people from being hospitalized or dying.
Jul 31, 2021 How is this news? The vaccine is to avoid severe illness and hospitalization edit: BC posting the same time as me smh
Jul 31, 2021 Well I guess I'll die from this flu-like infection with 99% survival rate, that I already had and beat like a champ. Yall vaccinated people are safe, aren’t ya? So there's nothing to worry about.
Jul 31, 2021 If 75% of the country was vaccinated... the Delta Variant and COVID19 wouldn't exist in this country. Vaccinated people are still catching it because we are surrounded by unvaccinated bug chasers.
Jul 31, 2021 Like I said: I'm willing to read any data credible data on the vaccine being unsafe or ineffective. Like the entire point of science/medicine is that theories evolve and remedies change and improve as we get more and more data and tests. Follow the studies and follow the data rather than clinging to your preconceived notions. Still, no one has posted anything that even points to the vaccine being unsafe for the average person so far.
Jul 31, 2021 You won't... just people you know and care about... and we will continue to live like we have the last 18 months. I'm glad I lived in the enlightenment... I have decades of living free under my belt.
