Nov 17, 2024 Spooky season is over. I'll probably check out some new horrors that came out, or on Netflix, but for me it's time to move on for now: Holiday Season! A totally different side of me, next to my love for horror movies I also love the corniest and worst christmas movies. Only this time of year, but I can't get enough of them lol. Aside from the 'big' ones (Elf, Christmas Vacation, Santa Clause) I also watch some netflix ones and ones that are on tv. Any favorites you guys have? Oh and for the record when I say christmas movies I truly mean christmas themed movies. Having a christmas tree in it somewhere doesn't make it a christmas movie to me (ahum, die hard)
Nov 17, 2024 besides the obligatory christmas vacation, and being in the camp that die hard is very much a christmas movie, in spirit not just in decoration, my christmas traditions include nightmare before christmas, jim carrey’s a christmas carol, krampus, batman returns, jingle all the way, a charlie brown christmas, and many more along with various other animated and live action holiday specials. i love christmas and all the joy it brings people
Nov 17, 2024 Home alone has always been my go to. It’s lowkey one of the most entertaining movies ever imo.
Nov 17, 2024 Must sees yearly are Bad santa Nightmare before christmas Rudolph Gremlins Home alone 1 and 2
Nov 17, 2024 Maaaaybe I have to give it a chance, since I only watched part 1. Terrifier I mean I hate marvel bs
Nov 17, 2024 I’d recommend watching part 2 first so you have an idea of who the returning characters are, but if you do wanna skip it I’m sure you could and still be fine also spidey is the goat bro
Nov 20, 2024 Family Switch Imo this hardly counts as a christmas movie, but it is labeled as one I guess. Its freaky friday, but a little different. Its as corny as most christmas movies but I have to say I smiled a lot. If you just enjoy it and don't mind clichés its cool! 7.5/10
Nov 20, 2024 White Reindeer Krampus Better Watch Out Black Christmas Hardcore (1979) The Silent Partner
Dec 7, 2024 Deck The Halls Second time watching this. It borrows a lot of stuff from Christmas Vacation, but its like a milder version of that. Since it has no swearing or bad language. The characters are cool, the comedy elements are funny -like I said, a bit stolen from CV at times- and and yeah obviously it has a hallmark message and ending. For a christmas movie this was pretty enjoyable! 6.7/10 Holiday Rush I have to admit, I didn't even finish it. Such a chore to sit through. Its about a rich guy with spoiled little brats that loses his job before christmas. They have to sell their castle and the kids are not getting cars and pony's for christmas. Boohoo. The kids are so f---ing insufferable and the dad is annoying as f--- too. Acting is so over the top. Every character is kinda unlikable (except the assistant and the old woman maybe) and it was impossibe for me to give a s---. Yes, it is a christmas movie so I can't expect much, but this was just so boring. 3/10
Dec 7, 2024 Wish Netflix had more Christmas stuff, just a few romantic comedies for women and Klaus...
Dec 7, 2024 Yeah I was skimming through them mostly just a lot of awful big town girl goes to small town stories. Deck the Halls is okay. Love Hard too even if its romance as well. This christmas seems okay, yet to see it. And gonna check out Lindseys new one since the other one was fine even if its romance too lol. Also there's a few spanish or brazilian ones I liked. Bad moms 2 and daddy's home 2 are kinda cool too. Other than that I mostly watch the ones I own on dvd. Christmas vacation, elf, bad santa 1 and 2, miracle on 34 street, santa clause trilogy, jingle all the way, etc
