Went and saw Willie Nelson tonight! Merle Haggard was supposed to be playing with him, but pulled out last week due to illness and unfortunately passed away yesterday. Jamey Johnson and Ryan Bingham opened for him, it was a great time! Had fourth row tickets and the people that went with me provided me with free beer all night because I gave them the tickets for free after my parents decided not to go (dad hates Willie, mom hates Jamey)

I mean... Now that I think of it, it's pretty hard to do with country music because most of it is all summer music haha. But if you really want me to I can post some all-time favorites of mine. Songs that I always play when I'm out on the river or boozin.

I think it supposed to come this Fall. I don't really know though. He's been playing so many of the songs that are supposed to be on the album at his live shows though.

I just listened to it, it's just a cover. That song has actually been around for a while, Tim McGraw recorded it in 2007 for his album Let It Go:

And then Jason Eady recorded it in 2014 for his album Daylight/Dark:


I'm not a real big fan of McGraw's version of the son but I really like Jason Eady's. Don't think either top Stapleton though.
