    • First of all, I don't like Future. Not that I listened to him a lot and give myself a proper chance to like him but anyway the songs I've heard from so far I usually disliked except 2 of them which I can't really remember the names of... Whatever, I decided to listen to DS 2, an album I downloaded recently. And now that I have a free time tonight. I'll definitely give it a spin.

From the look of tracklist, I thought well, I respect him having only one feature. He can definitely hold his own. I'll give him that from the beginning.

    01 Thought It Was A Drought - 7,5/10

Great beat and Future's delivery is not that annoying like I thought it'd be. What is more, lyrics are kinda good as I check the genius too.

    02 I Serve the Base - 9/10

Definitely a great track. Better than the previous. f---in' loved that song! "Tryn a make pop star, they made a monster."

    03 Where Ya At - 6,5/10

Drake sounds so dope when he is rapping (also singing) that I was kinda felt that like he is sooo good. Felt like Future get murdered on his own s--- by Drake. In my opinion, if it wasn't for Drake, this would have been boring as f---..

    04 Groupies - 5/10

I remember hearing this. This was a single or somethin I guess. Nothing special...

    05 Lil' One - 7/10

Liked the beat. And his voice went kinda well with it.

    06 Stick Talk - 9/10

Wow, this sounds good now. Really liked that song. Dope beat and liked it a lot. Might be the best one so far in the album in terms of both beat and song.

    07 Freak Hoe - 7/10

Liked his flow a lot on his 1st verse a lot.

    08 Rotation - 6/10

Kinda get bored, hard to understand what he sayin' sometimes. Average song.

    09 Slave Master - 6/10

Again liked the beat but at this point kinda feeling like drunk I don't know why. I don't know if u guys now that feeling but I feel like my head gets heavier & heavier...

    10 Blow A Bag - 5/10

If it wasn't for genius I'd hardly understand most of it. Great beat nothing more.

    11 Colossal - 5/10

    12 Rich Sex - 9/10

Is this same beat he used in Stick Talk ?? This is even better than that one.

    13 Blood on the Money - 9/10

Really liked this one too. But inspite of how good the last 2 songs were, I don't think I can keep on listenin' for the bonus tracks..

    OVERALL - 7/10

I kinda liked Future more with this album and still appreciate how he can hold his own. Many rappers need many features in order to make an album.

One thing I should say is Drake sounded sooo much better than Future and he might have my fav part in the whole album which is f----- up in a way but I guess it's just me. I'm not a big fan of Future's voice and delivery after all.

And why is his voice always like autotuned or what's that he is using ? That's not his real voice right... Kinda comes annoying after 4-5 songs back to back but anyway. I used to had similar problem with Lil Wayne before Tha Carter came out too but then I kinda started to like the fact that he had a unique and recognizable voice. Same could happen with Future too. Just need a lil more time maybe.

Another problem with the album and Future I guess is that sometimes, it's so hard to understand what he says. People saying it's hard to understand what Em says when he was rhyming so fast but this is harder to understand for me...

As for positives, conten wise it's kinda good, really liked the production a lot. Always been a fan of hard hittin' basses and s--- like that so... Lyrcally, Future is ok. I mean my problem is more with his voice and sometimes his delivery. But I can tell that he has some great flows on this one.

Anyway, that was an quick & brief review by a man who never gets into Future's music for number reasons. Don't hate it guys. Just appreciate the fact that I'm tryin' to give musicians, rappers I ignore a chance after all...

f--- u for saying this. I've done similar thing with Kanye's Yeezus and people bring Em to the table. Nobody said s--- but when just mentioned his name once (I've mentioned other rappers too.) it's a huge problem. I might as well mention Future's name while listenin' to Eminem, you wouldn't have problem with that would u ?

It gets easier when you've listened to him, or any other artist, for a while.
Glad you gave him a chance :)

Blow a Bag is incredible, trying using the lyrics if you need help. It's about him trying to fill the void his deceased friends/relatives have left in his life

    glad you enjoyed the album
