Including shootings, traffic stops, search & seizures, etc. Refutes notions that police killings are tied to criminality/threat level etc. Before the Chad Wardens of the world start jerking themselves off under a picture of Reagan and trying to deny this, look at the huge swath of sources this pulls from. It's irrefutable.

I'm in the very first study. First and foremost.



Okay, okay, the government is inefficient and can't be trusted. The accusations here made are:
1. They have incomplete data
2. The data recorded is biased

So you mean to say that you did qualitative statistical analysis on incomplete data? Not only that, but the current estimates are 'surely underestimates' . I mean, i'm supposed to believe that this statement isn't confirmation bias in an 'objective unbiased study'?

But okay, okay, they did have the decency to say this before the data presentation



Then why the f--- did the original article site this? A qualitative statistical analysis with both incomplete data sets and a very neglectful variable sets can't be used to come to ANY conclusions, not to mention the source of data (USPSD) not having much credentials or credibility itself and the subtle statements of confirmations bias throughout the study. It's been predetermined that the existence of racial bias is the inevitable finding, and this is shown in how they try to downplay the lack of variables and data implying that the course of findings won't be affected.

This is bs and can't be used to draw any conclusions .There are admittedly 17 more studies , but the fact that the article cited this as the very first one raises some eyebrows as to how much research the article writers themselves did.

But i will look through the other ones regardless. It's 'evidence' and i will bear through it.

I pay for school out of pocket, which is completely irrelevant, but on top of that both of my responses in this thread are only half serious. I respect Paul, but he has a very far, end of the spectrum opinion on this stuff and I don't care to argue about it with him or anyone. I have no right to tell someone they shouldn't be angry or protest about something, regardless of my personal stance.

My point was, if you want to judge police, pay attention moving forward. Unfortunate things will still happen, but I believe the overwhelming majority will be more positive than the past.
