    Neither, in fact it's been around since the Cash Money and No Limit days, also Memphis rappers like Three Six Mafia were doing that kind of music

    Yes. This. They've had that trap sound before anyone, an UGK were the masters. I'm convinced p---- C layed the first trap beat ever. Hes the one it all comes back too. Before Gucci, Jeezy, most definitely ti. But I definitely would say Gucci an p---- C were the fathers of trap music. p---- C birthed it, Gucci raised it.

    Three Six Mafia was Crunk/Horrorcore. Cash Money was more Bounce. Neither gave off "Trap Music" vibes.
