Jan 6, 2016 Overall I think Late Registration is better lyrically but the production on MBDTF was probably better so its hard to decide. I think I enjoyed LR slightly more but that could change tomorrow

Jan 6, 2016 MBDTF is an amazing album but I've always preferred Late Registration. When it comes to saying which is better than which it is very challenging for me to answer, but I can quite confidently say that I enjoy and prefer LR more that MBDTF.
Jan 6, 2016 I used to like LR more (used to be my fav Kanye album) but I think that was just nostalgia getting in the way. LR has some of his greatest songs of all time (and maybe THE greatest Kanye song, Gone) but it's his worst constructed album, which has caused it to age the poorest for me. It's def gone down to the bottom half of his catalogue for me.
Jan 6, 2016 Easily for me, but that's not a bad thing, it's just Kanye has too strong of a discog. Honestly if I had to rank his albums, MBDTF 808s & Heartbreaks College Dropout Yeezus Late Registration Graduation Many people would swap 808s and Yeezus though.
Jan 6, 2016 MBDTF but I got into Kanye later (well, I knew of him before but wasn't a huge fan) around when 808s got released. Flashing Lights changed my life lol so I hold Graduation in high regard. LR/TCD are equal but they, to me, don't have that effect on me that Graduation/808s/MBDTF had...which is why I have an unusual top 3. You can't go wrong either way.
