Aug 22, 2017 I’m sure that many have noticed that Eminem’s voice sounds drastically different on literally every single one of his albums. Some voices are classic. and embody Eminem at his peak, and some are just g.d. annoying. SSLP – nasally, high pitched, helium balloon-a--- voice – sounded distinct. not annoying, despite being a bit nasally = great. classic MMLP – a little bit deeper than SSLP. what i remember Eminem’s voice to be. – sounded amazing (my fav Em voice). classic TES – had bit of a more menacing edge to the MMLP voice + a little deeper – amazing. also classic Encore – sounded like bored talk-rapping. he still had the flow tho – not as great, but not bad hiatus Relapse – accents & s--- – i dont mind it too much on most songs, but on certain songs its unlistenable Recovery – serious, angry, yelling flow – despised by many, not unlistenable to me tho h--- the Sequel – a slightly toned down version of Recovery voice, but he sped up his flow and used multisyllabic rhymes to make the voice fit in wayyyy better – dope af (best voice post-hiatus) MMLP 2 – choppy, robotic. has a bit of the old MMLP tinge, but it’s lower and more nasally, making it unpleasant to listen to. During his flow, he sometimes sounds like he is forcing his voice to be nasally while his voice is in his lower, talking register, which sounds SO f---ing ANNOYING. his worst voice imo + choppy a--- flow =
Aug 22, 2017 I f---ing hate Recovery for only one reason. The mixing was really bad. Recovery with the mixing quality of MMLP2 would make it top 3 album
