    Q back. U love to see it. Freddie is as great as usual. By the way: Are we ready to admit that CrasH Talk was a great album or do I have to fight some people?

    I remember I liked a few songs but thought the album overall was incredibly basic by Q standards. Might have to check it out again though.

    It may be not the best project to follow up the incredible Blank Face LP but is by no means a bad album. I get why people expected more but I found Pitchforks review pretty fitting (for once): It might not have the mean-mugging raps of 'Blank Face LP' or the weed-infused smoker anthems of 'Habits & Contradictions', but it's comforting, like diving into the fifth or sixth season of your favorite network sitcom

    Gibbs run is so good because he was a huge blog era rapper that used to smack and he, like a lot of blog era rappers, I expected to plateau in the early 2010s. I was wrong! He’s literally only gotten bigger and better since then and it’s so nice to see him get his shine.

    Exactly! I like most (and even love some) of his miseducation of freddie gibbs to esgn era stuff (haven't listened to anything before that)—but piñata and beyond is phenomenal. Stuff that puts him on GOAT lists.

    Actually it turned into a short discussion why g--- is censored and then it flopped. But yeah I've been listening to freddie since Shadow Of A Doubt and everything he dropped since and of course before (PINATA HELLO) was nothing short of amazing
