    I go back and forth between Christin Dior Denim Flow and Good Friday.

    Christian Dior Denim Flow and Power Remix are my favourites, but all of these songs were 10/10

    Ye was absolutely at his peak during this era, can’t imagine being in such an unstoppably creative place that you can afford to drop the best album of the year and give the second best album of the year away for free

    Christian Dior Denim Flow is unbelievable, it’s exclusion from MBDTF only adds to its mythical status. Lloyd Banks verse, Cudi outro, it’s a perfect storm captured into a crystal ball.

    The Joy my other favorite one. Ye & Jay trading bars over a modified Pete Rock beat was such a moment, h--- it still is for me.

    Yea this was by far my favorite era. Still remember being in high school and waiting for each new track to drop each week with my friends. I didn’t even know forums existed at that time, but I’m sure it would’ve been a crazy time online during this era

    I have such a fondness for the blog era. Everything had it’s time and place, each release felt like an actual event and we weren’t overwhelmed with streaming options. On the subject of Good Friday, man that was the highlight of the fall of my senior year!

    Man, the blog era is by far my favorite time of rap history. Like, I was always the dude who’d check all the blogs daily and the pass the new music and up and coming artists onto my homies and s---. Obviously, I still love hearing new music to this day, but was more impressionable back then as most kids are in high school, so I just felt a deeper connection with that music. But yea MBDTF era is legendary. I still remember the “Record for hype” file that had a pass code that everyone was trying to hack to hear the early version of the album lol. So many memories to this album, and then he followed it up with WTT. Like god d---!
