Nov 14, 2015 I think so. let's take a look at 2015 for both respective artists. kanye dropped 'only one' to open up the year having the public at the edge of their seats in anticipation for So Help Me God. he followed that up by dropping all day, a song that that's sonically quite the opposite of only one. this immediately worried me as it seems like Kanye lost his direction for the album, not to mention he spontaneously changed the name of the album to swish (s--- name). pretty much everyone who hear the all day demo in 2014 had been waiting for it. the result was a slight beat restructure with less of a melody than the demo version. looking back at it now at the end of the year, it's aged pretty horribly for me. he's been shining on his features this year but I don't see swish as having a proper sound/theme like we have on every Ye album but of course only time will tell. Views is something we've all known about since last year and from then to now, the only information we have on the album is that "Can I" is confirmed to be on the album. doesn't matter. he's racked up so many W's this year, this would probably still be among his top years even if Views doesn't drop this year. if you're reading this, it's to late. 20 million dollar apple deal. the dismantling of meek mill. future collab album just to keep his name as the topic of discussion. he couldn't stop blessing us if he wanted to. he has proven to be the voice of the people and will surely deliver whenever Views drops.
Nov 14, 2015 I'd have to agree. Swish is almost like its never coming out and views is always being mentioned by drake and drake has been all over 2015.
Nov 14, 2015 Yes. Swish (and hopefully the name will be changed again) wont be out until late 2016 or early 2017. Views I can see coming in 2015 or early 2016.
Nov 14, 2015 of course My hype levels for Swish disappeared when i realized its not coming till possibly late next year
Nov 14, 2015 It's completely OK to say that Drake is having a good year. But to say he's number 1 is completely wrong because Eminem's the best lyrically. he's number 1, his shouting flow gave me goosebumps he's so good, his flow is impeccable, just the number 1 lyricist no question. name one person who could body em on a track? lmao u cant! that's right because he's number 1 hands down!!! if you don't agree, you're not a real rap fan and you probably like lil wayne LOL. (BTW they did a song together, and Em actually subliminally dissed wayne, cause hes so dumb LOL!!)
Nov 14, 2015 But seriously it's practically impossible to listen to all the way through. I listen to the first eight songs (cept Madonna) and Jungle. That's about it.
Nov 14, 2015 ye u gotta be in a certain to mood to listen all the way i agree on that part if not then u might just play 1 or 2 tracks and move on
Nov 14, 2015 I enjoyed it quite a bit when it first dropped, but half the songs have zero replay value.
Nov 14, 2015 "used to" bumps in the whip "6 man" is a gr8888 song with a gorgeous outro i'm honestly a sucker for the production on "now and forever" "you and the 6" hits u right in the feels
