I quite often see people regard Recovery in a high regard it feels. Like I mentioned in a previous thread I've certainly seen some people use the word classic (incorrectly imo) with it. Has it improved, declined or stayed the same in your opinion?

I thought it was alright when it came out and still think the same. I think the people that praise it more like the idea of Recovery rather than the actual project. They generally don't like Relapse because of the accents etc. And due to Recovery's ditching of those elements I think that influences their opinion of the album rather than the actual tracks. Because honestly I rarely, rarely ever revisit it and if I do I'll play maybe 3 songs.

    Aged better than mmlp2 imo
I dont know if it is a classic, maybe it is from a commercial pov.
Or at least the closest he'll have to a classic post hiatus

It is his best post-hatus album imo, but still hasn't aged very well. Although I'm probably not the greatest judge, I don't go back to Eminem that often but when I do it's songs off his first three studio albums.

Was my first eminem album but I think it hasn't aged well. At least for me personally. I think both mmlp2 and relapse are better. Recover at the time was the album we needed. Imo

In terms of quality, it's aged well, still has tons of replay value. Standout album. I'd also (like many of you) argue that it's Ems best post-hiatus work.

Sonically/production wise though, it's aged poorly, all the tracks sound mad dated.

It's aged horribly. The punchlines wore thin quickly, but the awful production is what ultimately kills it for me. Needs a remix album or something.
