Oct 15, 2015 whenever it's brought up, I always see it being discussed solely as the "weaker counterpart" to his Meek disses. but as a song in itself, it's so beautiful tbh. the way he flows over the beat in such a graceful, passive-aggressive manner. the way 40 handled the production also, allows for drake to deliver his verses with utmost clarity so the listener can make out every word with ease. as an actual diss song, it doesn't fully work on all cylinders of course but there's still enough clever lines in there to make for an enjoyable listen. over the weeks, I've definitely found myself playing it moreso than I have back to back though having this set up in a playlist as an intro for back to back is also a excellent set up.
Oct 15, 2015 Tru the song is exceptional because 40s a great producer and u can hear drake very clearly
Oct 15, 2015 Always considered it more of a warning shot than a diss, either way it's definitely underrated/overlooked.
Oct 15, 2015 that's all you got from it? his voice DOES compliment 40's production very well on the song and it's not like the song is full of filler lines and empty bars lol
