Dec 16, 2017 I was listening tonight for the first time in my car driving in San Francisco and it stunned me when he said that. He said ONE HUNDRED PERCENT. And the album ended shortly after that. Is that a clear message to us that he just wants to retire for Hailey?

Dec 16, 2017 He definitely wont. I think if Revival had been received amazingly - he might have. But he's too stubborn and worked too hard on all his skills in recent years... there's no way he'll stop until he gets that feedback he wants. Must be maddening, really. He's been chasing it since Encore. Or, I guess you could say since Relapse, as Encore was like he didn't give a f--- and at the time didn't really seem to notice or care about the meh response either, although Encore was still big at the time and he was in the swing of things, so probably didn't notice as much.
