Dec 18, 2017 It's common, and I've been guilty of it myself, to be frustrated when Eminem makes a stupid, corny pun in a song. But we need to think about it from this angle: Eminem knows it's stupid, he just has that goofy sense of humor. He called his own lines stupid. But its not like he's attempting to do something profound, his goal is the "wtf" reaction from us. Like you laugh at your friends dumb jokes, this is meant to provoke the same response. It is funny because it is stupid, and we all know its stupid.. When he really wants to do a clever line hes more than capable. But the man likes to crack dumb jokes that rhyme. It's all just silly fun. Theres a subreddit for s-----y pickup lines where Eminem would be the king.
