Is he too technical nowadays?

He always was very technical emcee, that's a fact, but after signing Slaughterhouse he seems like he is trying to become as technical as possible, which is overwhelming sometimes.

It's good if he can rhyme so well, but songs are not so listenable as they used to be. For instance, his 3rd verse in "Right For Me" is so technical he sounds like a robot #rapbot. On the other hand, "The Hills" remix or "Medicine Man" were technical too, but they were something different, even though he used his shouting flow again.

What you think? Do you like it or not? What is the reason behind his obsessive technical aspect?

I think he should ease up a bit and focus on making listenable music again. It would help him a lot.

I haven't say that, but yeah. I enjoyed The Hills and Medicine Man. These songs were better than anything he did since 2013.

Hills, eeehhh, but Medicine Man is pretty good. Never thought I'd say this, but he is too much of a perfectionist.

It's f----- his flow up big time.

I mean for example, Right For Me sounds f---ing garbage but impressive to look at rhyming wise.

Exactly, it's impressive as f---. Nevertheless, s--- doesn't sounds good anymore.

Complicated verses like 3rd in "Right For Me" should be used in some cyphers or in songs just from time to time, but he's doing it almost in every song he's in.

Exactly so I think he is moving on from that stage of being obsessed with just the rhymes and speed the hills Medicine man and Best friend were a massive improvement I wont be disappointed if we get a album of songs to that standard

I hope he's going to do more songs like The Hills.

I'm not sure, but he said something in the interview about him being aware of his chopping flow, so who knows, he may surprise us again.
