    He's better than both of them. Hes popular on youtube so thats why the kid knows him but he is not corny

    I like Joyner, but I'm afraid to listen to this. He has the ability to be great, but he also has the ability to be the next Hopsin. I don't find him to be nearly close to the corniness of Hopsin though.

    I loved songs like Long Way, That's OK, She Don't Need Me and even Happy Birthday

    But some of his songs like Backwards or I'm Sorry... IDK... just not a fan of those. Some of them are creative, but IDK, I think they're better fitted for mixtapes.

    I checked about 3/4 of the album and only liked MAYBE 3 songs. Pretty disappointed tbh.

    Anyone who knows anything about hip hop would have this on their AOTY list. One of the best story telling artists of all time. Stop sleeping.

    That's exactly how I feel, he has talent and I like his music but at the same time if he stays youtube popular and makes some other corny songs such as cutting off his d-ck I'l probably delete him from my library

    Relax there. I have every reason to root for Joyner, seeing as he's from my area, and I know his people. He's been a part of the local movement that I've been apart of since around 2011. I want the dude to succeed. Just like I want artists like Passionate MC (one of my closest friends), Flawless etc. to succeed.

    Problem is, they believe in making Youtube content and/or being super lyrical. Which is totally fine to do, every now and then, but it gets boring after a while. Joyner has the ability to make AMAZING music, but he's wasting it on these conceptual songs and/or storytelling. He's not the storyteller that Nas is, so it kinda falls flat (a lot of the time, he rushes his bars, or is off beat when he's telling a story). Story telling has a LOT to do with the execution, not just the story itself.

    The best thing he's done is Long Way, which the video was a story, but the song was a great song that did NOT tell a story. It was the perfect balance.

    But, he's walking a thin line between great and corny. This album didn't do him any justice.
