He has for weird reasons never won an AOTY ( Taylor has 2 ) 808s may not be Kanye's best album but it definitely deserved the nomination for 2010 , have you guys seen the nominees for that year? 2010 should've been Ye's year . 2012 is an absolute joke and possibly the worst moment in Grammy's history. Are the Grammy's scared of a passionate speech or something? Is there a proper reason for this? Stupid that MBDTF didn't get nominated , stupid af. Kanye has been snubbed by the Grammy's straight up , they only give him other awards to avoid it being looked at that way. Dec 26, 2017 Grammy's actually biased in favor of Kanye and some of the issues are all about hip hop genre. Rap albums never ever win the AOTY awards. h---, Recovery was the biggest album nominated that year and yet it couldn't win. Same things can be said about MMLP and TES too. All in all, no Grammy's are not snubbing Kanye at all but they are snubbing the whole rap genre tho.
