    jay z is a great rapper but not even remotely in the same stratosphere as kanye artistically

    From an artist perspective Kanye by a mile. But from a pure rapping and lyrical standpoint Hov >>> very few can touch hov when it comes to rhyming. Kanye is not one of them. He makes incredible music and is a top 5 artist across any genre imo but he's not the lyricist that Jay is

    but Jay's a billionaire and Kanye's not ...if your overall measurement is success, then Jay hands down.

    I can see why people would pick Kanye, because they might like the music he makes more. But when I listen to a Jay album I have to go back and reslisten to catch some of the lines I missed. Some of his albums make you want to go out and make money, be cocky, confident. When i listen to Kanye it makes me want to get a tide stick in case I get bleached a------ stains on my t shirt

    Raps is pretty iffy. CD, LR, and G to MEEEEEE where Kanye's last touches of actual lyrical tracks after that it was mostly vibes to me. Ye makes good musik but when it comes to bar to bar rapping its Jay
