On the final night of the 2015-16 regular season, we saw the Golden State Warriors beat the Bulls 20 year old record of victories in a season with 73, and Kobe Bean Bryant finish his 20 year career with a game winning, 60 point performance.

Which of these 2 unbelievable achievements do you think is more impressive and why?

Busy at work right now but will posts my thoughts in a bit.

Easily the Warriors. Kobe took 50 shots lol everyone in the gym knew he was gonna get his, and the Jazz had nothing to play for. The greatest regular season in NBA history is more impressive.

They fed Kobe the ball last night like I was trying to level up my create-a-player on NBA2K

Yeah but he still shot 44%. NOBODY knew he was still capable of putting up 60.

Kobe played like that a------ kid you went to school with and thought only he could take a shot on every posesesion. Obv kobe earned it though.

I respect Kobe, but the Warriors have been working on that all season...Kobe just had a great game at the right time.

I mean... it is Kobe Bryant and everyone knew he'd be jacking up tons of shots.... I think a lot of people knew he was capable of 60 points considering his shot quantity and the fact that the Jazz were done anyways. Only the 4th time we've ever seen someone take 50+ shots.

The ability to hit some of those shots and make some of those plays late in the 4th was great to see though. That was easily the most impressive part for me.

Maybe in the 3rd you say, hey maybe 40 isn't too far off..maybe 50..60? I'd laugh if someone said he'd drop 60 in his last game.

That being said the Warriors is more impressive. I love Bean, but f--- man, 73-9 is insane. They need to lock it up with a championship or it's almost meaningless.

wait, is this a serious question? lol

kobe's night was remarkable in a lot of ways. was there and will definitely never forget it. but 60 points on 50 shots in a nothing game vs. the all-time wins record??

i think the obvious answer here is the Warriors, and an even more impressive 400+ 3's this season from Curry. No other player in NBA history has made even 300 in a season.

I agree the Warriors is more impressive, but I think it's closer than you're making it out to be. Talk about rising to the occasion, Kobe is 37 years old with more miles than other NBA player to date. 1st player to hit 60 this season, in his LAST game with everyone in the world watching. With no shot at the playoffs, there wasn't a better way for him to go out.
I think he owns the top 5 3 point season totals in history. Last year was 290ish. This year he & Klay combined for more made 3s than half the teams in the NBA.

I don't really see how they're close honestly. I thought the Kobe game was great and he couldn't have gone out better but I mean, he still took 50 shots, he was just out there chucking them.

Still managed to s---t 44% and at one point he was getting doubled. He played 42 minutes as well, just no way a 37 year old should be able to do the things he did.

kobe scored 60 points, and was phenomenal in the last three minutes. that's insanely impressive, especially given his age and the mileage on his body. but he took 50 shots to do it in a game that meant nothing for either team. the warriors put together the best regular season in NBA history in a year that had another historically great team in their own conference. (and remember, they did this as the defending champs.) they're not remotely close.

Hard not to get caught up in the moment with Kobe.

Yeah it's definitely different when you're the champ and every team and arena is waiting to be the ones to take you down. The Warriors almost made 73 look easy (if that's possible). Think about what Curry's numbers could've been if he hadn't sat out so many 4th quarter blowouts. 24-0 start without their HC, went long periods of time without Iggy, Bogut, Festus, they definitely deserve all the shine they've gotten this year. Let's see if they can cap it off with a championship.

agreed its a nothing game built solely around it being a swan song , you never know how much player deference is involved -- like cal ripken getting a home run in his final all star game. would've been more impressive if he willed lakers to, say, having a winning record lol. cumulative (historic) team performance > individual/single game performance
