Eminem My final opinion about revival

    I don't think ive made a thread yet so let me say -

    Revival isn't a terrible album but it's really not good, I've been making fun of people for praising it so ill explain why, seriously not just ''its trash''

    Walk on Water is a good song, but not replayable.

    Believe is a good song but the hook is so bad I dont want to relisten either and its not a song like Dots and Lines that you listen to once and think the hook is bad I've listened multiple times and his voice during the hook isn't appealing at all although the verses are good.

    Chlroseptic has an alright hook and okay verses from Eminem but the overall message of ''Mumble rap but eminem good'' is f---ing stupid imo.

    Untouchable is alrgi-BLACK BOY WE DONT LIKE THE SITE OF YOU... nevermind

    River is renegaded by ed sheeran but its aight I guess im not gonna relistned tho

    Remind me intro is just not a good song, bad flow, bad shoutout to a bad rapper, bad bars ew

    Revival interlude is seriously the best song on the album i've listened to it like 10 times RIP to the singer her voice was really good, but I don't think it fits on the album

    Like Home, I love alicia key btw but I don't really fw this song kinda corny imo

    Bad Husband is an alright song not much to say its like headlines its not bad but its not necessarily good either, flow terrible and production is really bad

    Tragic Endings is aight I guess

    Framed sounds like old eminem blah blah its alright ill prolly listen to it again but right now the voice is just kinda out of place on the album

    the next 3 songs are not good in any way not even offended you ppl overrate that s---

    Need me is the worst song on the album Eminem wise, another feature renegade

    I didn't like In your head when I first listened but I kinda like it now, the sample shouldn't have been used the way it did on this album but his rapping isn't terrible so its aight

    Castle is by far the best song on the album its really f---ing good, the production is dope, the girl singings voice is really f---ing good, his verses are dope, the content is actually great and while I seriously think this is a top 10 em track period it pissed me off because it means he can make s--- like this but makes s--- like the rest of this album. g.d.

    Arose is alright, seems to be the fan favorite from the album but idk the flow is good, the beat is aight but its not on the level of Castle imho

    Overall it's a 4/10, I made this thread to make a point on how there are good songs but people like koolo calling it a classic is absolutely ridiculous. Anyway yeah if you like it thats fine but its the worst album from Em since encore imo and f--- yall MMLP2 isnt trash its like an 7/10

    Calling it a classic is ridiculous because it hasn't even been out for a month. You'd be stupid for calling Illmatic a classic if this was April 1994.

    Agree with most except

    - Love the chorus on believe
    - Don't like in your head
    - I like like home more than you I guess
    - If you meant those 3 songs include Nowhere Fast, I disagree love that song

    Other than that I feel the same way mostly

    I don't know it sounds good in theory but when I listen I just imagine Eminem in the booth making his voice sound weird in the middle of the word believe like he does it sounds stupid but I can't get the picture out of my head

    I love kehlani's chorus, content is good and maybe I'm the only one but I like the beat and eminem is not bad. I don't know how else I can tell it I just really like it lol

    peep the edit, the 3rd verse was alright but I thought he was gonna do some triplet flow and make a b-----r when I first heard it kinda dissapointed he doesn't like that flow tbh

    When I thought about eminem going on trap beats I was like pls no.. cuz we got f---ing No Favors.. hearing believe and also knowing he produced it himself was such a pleasant surprise

    if he did thats cool I'd rather have an album of em produced em songs than rick rubin, someone please tell rubin to go back working with kanye they work so well together

    I do find it funny that people s--- on so far but praise believe me or heat. So far is much better it actually had gr8 parts even if it also had 2 s-----y ones

    Ima be real altho so far the worst song on mmlp2 I think its still an alright song and better than every song off revival other than maybe 4, it really sounds like revival was made in a month from start to finish and right before it was submitted he found a few songs he made a few years ago called Framed, castle and arose and put them on their idk
