Nah if yeezus was any indication of anything is that kanye can keep reinventing himself. Not a recipe for failure, if executed right.

d--- this is actually a thought provokin thread, imma have to think about this one.

The only logical picks are Drake, Kendrick or Kanye. No one else is really on that Superstar level right now. Some could argue J.Cole but I'd say Cole's good but not Superstar just yet.....

Drake. Even though he's not at his prime yet, I can already see him falling off.

Do we count Macklemore as biggest trash in Hip Hop right ? If you count him as good rapper then he is the next.

I think the biggest likelihood is Wayne. He's killing it right now, but has been inconsistent in the past and has failed pretty hard a few times when trying to reinvent his sound.
with his situation with the label, I think the pressure to make a big splash could cause him to go way out there in a direction that doesn't really work for him.
That said, he already weathered a disappointing stretch and bounced back from a turn as a skateboarding rocker, so he might be tough enough to come back from just about anything.
The other people who are big right seem like they're in a safer position.
Eminem is going to stay terrible but popular, Drake has found a very good lane to be in and has been very consistent, Kanye COULD fail spectacularly but seems less likely with the stature he's managed to build

edit: also, @Koolo is killing it with thread ideas lately

True, I suppose. But it's usually the Superstars that stick around for many albums that stay relevant.

Otherwise I'd say timeline of a rapper is 2 or 3 albums before they run out of the limelight and are forgotten.

Not a huge fan of them tbh. I maybe like ten songs by SH and that's it.

I don't think they're the most likely to fall off because imo they were never on

I liked MMLP2, but not XV because he made it overly technical to the point where it took away from the quality of the music.
