Sing for the moment is, in my opinion, the most complete rap song ever written. And probably a top 5 rap song ever written. I've never heard a song that easy on the ears be so perfect in every other phase as well.

3rd verse(mainly 2nd half of it) is amazing, rest of the song I don’t care a ton for.. but it’s still good.

I've always wondered what year it was recorded. 2001 maybe?

Outside of lose yourself none of those are as complete to me. If I ruled the world I'll give you too. Others are definitely all time great songs and arguably better, that's subjective but in terms of being complete only lose yourself is probably better

I'm not sure. Definitely sounds like it.. he was at the peak of his powers whenever this was recorded. Every aspect of it is on point

I think @M Solo made a story up once that this was supposed to be on MMLP. It was either this or say goodbye to Hollywood. I don’t believe it tho

Eminem's third best song. A masterpiece. Gives me f---ing chills. But you're overrating it based on the third verse.

Read what eminem said in a 2002 interview I don’t think them songs was meant for MMLP

Seventies rock had a feel to it — it was crazy. When I go back and

listen to it, like Led Zeppelin or Jimi Hendrix or Aerosmith, there was a

feel that '70s rock had that was incredible. I thought, 'What if I took that

feel and that emotion and put it with [the new millennium]?'

"I like guitars," he added. "I know guitars ain't real big in hip-hop, but

if you use them the right way they can be. Other rappers have used them and

    got away with it."

It was Em's right-hand man Proof who sparked the idea to sample Aerosmith's

"Dream On" for "Sing for the Moment."

No I never said that and if anybody did they're wrong. Both of those songs reference the Night Club incident and that was after MMLP came out.

The only thing I've said is that No Apologies was supposed to be on TES in place of Drips but Jimmy Iovine and Dre said that the album would have been "too dark" so it was shelved and reused with a new 3rd verse on The Re-Up.

Still to this day don't believe the third verse story mate. Voice is exact same and the writing isn't even as bad as its made out to be.
