Interesting stuff, something shady for sure. Maybe a form of payment to Drake via spins/streams.

Aug 7, 2016 This kinda been known that Apple fudges the numbers. They even made Views where you couldn't buy the singles, if you wanted a song you had to buy the album in full.

Aug 7, 2016 First week I didn't realize it was apple exclusive, nor did I know how small their sub base was, so I did believe it yeah. It's ruining historic measurement of an albums success, I dunno...like is views bigger than mmlp? Doubt it, but with Nielsen setup this way, history will say yes.
Aug 7, 2016 On one hand I could genuinely believe drake getting these kinds of numbers. He's on like 4 or 5 different songs on the radio rn, and views was one of the few albums so hyped up they put ads on tv. Drake had literally been promo'ing it in every feature leading up and there was no way to know it would be as dissapointing as it was. On the other hand I can completely believe apple/tidal skewing numbers for their clients, so who knows. Interested to see how this develops.
Aug 8, 2016 Views only has big first week sale. It has yet to outsell MMLP2. mmlp sold 12 million, views sold 1.4 million. not even close
