Feb 16, 2018 When there are a significant amount of people who regard this investigation as a “fraud” or “witch hunt,” including the president — it definitely matters.
Feb 16, 2018 You’re probably right but it’ll make whoever disregards this investigation as simply partisan politics look even more dumb.
Feb 16, 2018 Mueller reached a plea deal with one American connected to other individuals/entities charged.
Feb 17, 2018 It's normal for states to run propaganda accounts. Every other state does, including us. China does, Saudi Arabia does, France, Germany, the UK. Foreign states operating bot accounts and buying ad space isn't a usurpation of your democracy. It's not election tampering. It's just sort of the way the internet works.
Feb 17, 2018 The same Russian group named in the indictment, the Internet Research Agency, supposedly organized massive anti-Trump rallies after the election (lol). The Hill: The amount of propaganda for and against Trump was probably about equal, but Mueller will probably lie by omission. Hence my dismissal of this investigation as “partisan politics.” @Enigma
Feb 17, 2018 The operation started off as a way to cause distrust in American institutions. Once Clinton won the nomination, the Russians clearly were doing all they could to help trump’s campaign. Hence why they met and/or communicated with George Papadopoulos, Donald Trump Jr., Paul Manafort, Jeff Sessions, Michael Flynn etc. & even offered dirt on Clinton lol. So much for this investigation being partisan politics.
Feb 17, 2018 Just another one of Enigmas crazy conspiracy theories...Imagine acting like this when trying to get into the political science field. Real politicians won’t take you serious.
Feb 17, 2018 Apparently trump’s own national security advisor believes in my “crazy conspiracy theory” then. Nice pivot lol. You do realize you went from calling this investigation partisan & phony for the past several months to now suggesting “who cares, it didn’t have an impact!”
Feb 17, 2018 We're talking about f---ing Facebook ads here, man lol. It's a joke. And it basically proves what I've been saying all along, i.e., Trump didn't collude with the Russians.
Feb 17, 2018 Impact is besides the point. A foreign nation influenced our democratic process & they largely view their 2016 effort as a success. Those who were complicit should be charged & punished. This is all about accountability, not about if it altered the election or not which at this point is really not possible to determine. The big question we should be asking is what are we doing to prevent future cyber attacks? What are our leaders doing to insure that security of our democratic process? Hard to tell when the president won’t even admit what people in his own cabinet even acknowledge.
Feb 17, 2018 So what you're saying is buying up ad space for trolling purposes is illegal? Prove it. Side note: it's been brought to my attention that a nothingburger is literally just the bun and nothing else. Obviously. For some reason I always pictured this: Ok, this story is a nothingburger without sesame seeds. Boring af.
Feb 17, 2018 No smart a---. Identity theft? Bank fraud? Unregistered foreign agents operating in the U.S.? Conspiracy against the U.S.? All very illegal. Did you read the indictment?
Feb 17, 2018 Republicans are now Pro-School Shootings and Pro-Russian Espionage. Deal with it, Snowflake.
