Feb 8, 2018 Oldie is definitely one of the most overrated songs ever of all time. On a top quality MP3 it's just hard to listen to and some of the verses seem like they were recorded in different backstreets . Aside from Tyler nobody else brought their A game. OF are so overrated as a collective at this point. Some of these so called Tyler stans need to change their taste. Survival Tactics had 2 hungry MCs complementing each other perfectly. The energetic, all in Joey along with the laid back Steez.
Feb 8, 2018 Oldie >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Survival Tactics I feel you on OF being overrated even if they really haven’t collectively been a thing for almost 4 yrs and Joey Bad def came up in an era where being over-the-top and nostalgic was the thing but at the same time Joey helped usher in a new wave of “i only listen to real rap”/“open your third eye u mainstream lames” type fans. You can compare the WOATness of Pro Era stans to OF stans for sure tho. Anyway back to the song Oldie was exciting as h--- cause it marked Earl’s official return to OF whereas Survival Tactics was a song by some new guy and his buddy dissed Lil B. So ultimately I think Oldie is still a better song in every way. Haven’t listened to that song in like 2 yrs tho.

Feb 8, 2018 No, Lil B put him onto Joey. Consequence was f---ing with cardi B though. Steeze did some digging but came up short. Either way oldie a classic and survival tactics needs to go back to the drawing board imo.
