Jan 31, 2018 "I disguise pain when I make it rain" is an incredible lyric btw throughout history, the best music has always had powerful, simplistic lyricism; saying more with less. Lyrical miracle rap misses the essence of what music even is so you mfers will really sit here and write off genuine artists because they dont spit enough syllables for you. Future could rap more complex if he wanted to, and he often does, but he's clearly out for something more meaningful than rhyming words together.
Jan 31, 2018 It's good writing ngl and suits his style, but it's one dimensional, too. The structure is great but the rhyme scheme is terrible. He rhymed get it with get it, forget it, forget it, get it and again forget it. Somethin with somethin like four times, live on with live on and song with song. While I acknowledge he did it on purpose in this song, which has a nice vibe, it makes the writing really easy. Even on other songs his rhyme scheme is just not up to par with great lyricists, never has been never will be. Like I said it suits his style and sometimes simplistic lyrics get more emotions through to the listener, which he does really well. Is he one of the best writers out there? h--- no and if you think so you are a stan. But to be honest it doesn't make future any worse. Nobody expects him to spit breathtaking lyrics and the style of his music makes it hard to do so.
