Just started diving more into his catalogue than I ever had. Honestly got him in my top ten possibly five. Guy's fantastic. What're your thoughts on Pap? Yet another NY MC like others where they never really hit the peak they should have like Santana, Jada and L who I think it was me and @Fire Squad were talking about. Hot af tape run but nothing massive mainstream - I do really, really enjoy Nacirema Dream though.

Find him pretty corny as a general rule. Like he’s obviously skilled technically, but seems more concerned with rhyming as many words as possible than actually saying anything with them.

There's definitely a few corny tracks don't get me wrong but he's got a pretty decent catalogue imo

He is a great rhymer too but I definitely find he has substance compared to other multi machines

Sorta like @Winter said, I do find him corny when he starts doing that Talib Kweli s--- of stuffing so many syllables/words into a bar. Still I am nostalgic of when DJ Kay Slay hyped the h--- out of Papoose being like the new Hov/Nas, 13 year old me was hyped when he did that Alphabet thingy

Never been into the alphabetical s--- some rappers do, that's something I've always found corny for some reason. I dunno I think I associate it with 13yo s--- like you kinda mentioned. Something someone always had on their MP3 player back in school acting like a hip hop connoisseur.

I've mainly been diving into his earlier stuff and starting in order and I'm really digging him - had never really bumped him a huge amount until now. There is a bit of corniness here and there though.
