Why do so many Americans think Fox News is a legitimate news source?

    I find it shocking (and alarming) that Fox News has always had considerably more viewers than the competition over the years.

    They don't necessarily think it's legitimate it just aligns with their ignorant, racist views

    It’s amazing propaganda

    We have politicians who are fighting to change laws in favor of the rich, and a news outlet in Fox News that does a great job putting up a rational enough opposing argument to what is probably best for the people and gets people to go along with the “powerful” rich strong billionaires

    the people who watch fox news absolutely believe in its legitimacy, and in the illegitimacy of virtually all other news

    All big news sources like it are very skewed, it just aligns with its viewers beliefs, just like why a lot of people watch CNN, for example

    Its sad really how trusted they all are by both sides

    Fox News, CNN, NYT, Breitbart... - these are all giant for-profit corporations and therefore should be taken with a grain of salt. Thankfully they are all dying while the alternative media is growing more popular every day.
