    Isn't the us the only place that calls him waldo? I didn't even know you guys actually legit called him waldo until i was like 13. The rare times i heard waldo mentioned in cartoons or something i thought it was just a tactic to get around copyright, i reckon wally rolls off the tongue better anyway

    Yeh just looked it up its a british series and only called waldo in us and canada

    On Wikipedia it says it was localized... i can get that if you spoke a different language but surely wally isn't that foreign a name to you guys ha just tryna be different for the sake of it there i think
