Apr 5, 2019 Been thinking a little bout the Angle/Corbin match, and I wonder if they gave Kurt a s-----y opponent so the crowd wouldn't be let down due to Angle not being able to really compete in a solid longer match nowadays. I mean if they did Kurt vs. a good wrestler the crowd liked, people would have high expectations and expect a classic farewell match, now expectations are lower and maybe it's just a 3-6 minute thing where Corbin gets a little offense, a little heat going with the crowd then Angle does his comeback, hits an angle slam, ankle lock and gets him to tap...I could see it being something fairly quick like that.
