    Yeah I actually went on a school trip when I was like 15! I can’t give you any real advice traveling there as an adult other than that it’s a beautiful country and def worth going to, lots of people speak English, and it’s one of the safest but most expensive Central American countries (though still very cheap compared to many places in the world). So if you’re looking to travel in Latin America and don’t know much Spanish/have never been it’s prob a good place to start.

    Perfect answer tbh! I do speak a little spanish but english is always a plus. It seems like it has it all: volcanoes, rainforest, beaches.. adventure and relaxing. And yeah also saw its pretty safe. The plan was to do a West Coast trip but when I saw this its also gr8, something different you know. Thanks!

    Hi there!
    We've never been but plan to:)

    My wife, 8 year old son and myself are going to Costa Rica at the end of July (already booked cheap flights). Unfortunately the travel dates only allow us four days in the country. Our top priorities are to go to rain forest, watch animals and go for rafting. If possible we would like to visit a volcano but not essential. Ideally would like to self-plan the trip. So keep you posted with the report

    after also living in panama, I’m gonna have to say panama is safer, more expensive, more people speak English and it’s also quite a bit more industrialized due to the American presence

    I was also super young when I was in costa rica but i think as a tourist it just depends on what type of adventure you’re looking for although all the jungle s--- you’d find in costa rica, you’ll find in panama

    Good to know! I’ve never been but always wanted to go. I’m heading to Aruba the 16th, I’ll be so close. All I know about panama is that it was basically created as a country just so we could build the canal lol...so I guess that makes sense.

    Also that it’s a good place to go if you commit a crime cuz they don’t extradite to the US
