I hope Bevin loses. He’s a Trump sycophant and Koch Bros bootlicker.

Late post but, I live in ky, in Louisville. I was glad bevin lost, although I don't like beshear either. lotta ppl hated bevin for the teacher issue. that man had everyone in the state hating him lol. only thing that got tricky though was the school topic....our state has been in a hole for quite a while (like a lot of states) but that whole pension topic, it kind of stems back to beshears father steve. Kentucky got severely upside-down on the retirement funds because when our economy was doing fairly well, the state government diverted state pension contributions to other things, and it never got back to what it was bc the states economy didn't stay in that "good times" as they kept calling it. Which happens everywhere though, whenever we start experiencing an uprise in the economy we start acting as if we wont fall back into the red, seems like we never future proof plans.

bevin went about fixing it in the wrong way trying to push teachers to seek outside retirement with 401k not provided by the state. I mean im glad he was passionate about wanting to fix the states debt but no Bueno on his execution, plus he's a f---ing MOE RON for shutting down gambling in the state, that could of helped so much but he's a stereotypical bible thumper whose anti abortion and anti gambling bc it will "bring upon violence and prostitution" theres no telling how much buisness the boat in indiana gets from everyone just in louisville crossing over on the weekends to go play a bit over there. but yet they had NO PROBLEM building a godamn replica of noahs f---ing ark that cost around 10 million(i believe) "oh thatll helps, we will see an uprise in tourism" FOH lol.

but yeah i was glad to see him go, i was actually shocked that the numbers were as close as they were.

curiosity, are any of you guys all the way republican or all the way democrat? I feel like both parties have turned into extremes both ways. its like if you're a democrat you HAVE to support a certain list of things and if you're republican you HAVE to support a certain list of things. there's no middle ground anymore, I never see any common ground, or compromise between parties, or them working together on issues. I just always find it hard to believe someone agrees with one party 100 percent on every issue. or is everyone just voting for the issues that are the most controversial. just seems like its gotten more and more distanced in the past 10 years.

Voting is pointless. All politics are corrupt both sides. There are puppets for the elites who run the world and free masons. You’re vote is pointless to the new world order soon to come.

I voted early just to check out the procedure. This is the first time that NY gets to vote early.

I wouldn’t say I’m “100% democrat” but rather my core beliefs disable me from ever being able to vote republican. I can’t in good faith vote for a party that doesn’t believe in the science behind climate change; doesn’t believe institutional racism exists/is a major problem; is opposed to LGBT rights; thinks laissez-faire capitalism is acceptable etc. especially in today’s day & age where Republicanism is beginning to form into a very scary looking kind of nationalism + authoritarianism.

Dems gotta run centrists in Texas to have any shot of a color change. No way someone like AOC would ever get elected here. I don’t think a Dem has won a senate or gubernatorial race here since the 90’s.

I’m totally fine with the Beto O’Rourke’s of the world being ran down there as long as D’s are competitive. I might not entirely agree with the candidate but it’s better than having like... Ted Cruz lol.

Texas are automatically voting red until all the old timers pass away. People forget older citizens vote the most out of any other age range. Fox News has them scared about the “hoods” in Texas.

It’s still ridiculous marijuana isn’t legal in the whole country and taken off the scheduled drug list. m--- is becoming a bigger epidemic than our opioid epidemic. Cartels learned how to make potent m--- and are flooding the states. Plus younger people like that speed rush and everyone out of high school now would be scared of opiates due to good athletes passing away from fent. It sickens me in my county they will still set people up for 2 grams of marijuana. While the CI is still doing heroin or m---. Obviously the entire law enforcements never want weed to be completely legal. And big pharma makes false accusations about thc too.

Beto would have had a great shot at beating our other senator who is running in 2020, until he announced his mandatory buyback plan.

This, I hardly knew of anyone my age that actually went out and voted in the midterms. Voter turnout always hurts Dems here.
Our scheduled drug list is an absolute joke and an instrumental tool in mass incarceration. Marijuana isn’t legal because big pharma realizes that everyone would stop taking their bs pills. John Hopkins University even recommended that Psilocybin should be a schedule 4 drug (what benzos are ironically) because numerous studies they conducted showed major promises as a psychotherapy drug. MDMA has even shown similar results in other lab studies and was recently granted breakthrough therapy status. Tobacco and Alcohol meet the definition of schedule 1 but anyone can go to a liquor store and buy enough Jack to k--- themselves.

I was annoyed af when he did that. Total dumb a---. It was a total moon shot. He never was going to win the nomination in this field.

I’m willing to bet one of his campaign advisers was like “this is the only way to seem more left than Sanders and Warren”. What a tool.

You still sticking with Kamala or has anyone else become more appealing to you?
