Apr 25, 2020 So RA just released an album (which is very good imo) and there are comparisons between him and Em. He thinks he's a better MC: The guy is a top lyricist, that's without question. Listen to "Gotta be dope" for proof. So - do you think he's in the same league as Eminem with regard to lyrics, etc? Is he even better? Or does he NOT deserve to be mentioned along Em?
Apr 25, 2020 His song "hate speech" on his new album is what the song "offended" on revival should've been.
Apr 25, 2020 He’s on that level as far as emceeing goes of course! People being mad disrespectful in the replies to that tweet, ignorance prevails!
Apr 25, 2020 There’s absolutely nothing wrong with thinking you’re the best, even when you’re not. I don’t have a problem with it at all. I think it’s healthy and—to a certain extent—is necessary. Confidence often brings out the best in people; you still need that level of respect, and need to find the fine line between sounding confident and arrogant though. Having an inferiority complex when getting on a song with an emcee will probably do you more harm than good, so as long as you’re respectful, it’s fine imo
Apr 25, 2020 Cuz he didnt say he believes he is better than Kendrick He said he has more hits than Kendrick
Apr 25, 2020 RA was doing the crazy White rapper shtick in the early 90s when Em was probably rocking a Hi Top fade and African medallions. But RA f----- his own career up with his antics which are legebdary in the history of Hip Hop. Em has gone way farther than RA ever could. But RA doesn't have a discography that can place him in an Em convo at this point. A large chunk of RA's career was spent touring and releasing 12"s without proper album releases. Em was always putting out EPs, LPs, everything. He's succeeded, failed, etc. I'm not knocking RA but Em didn't piss away his career to the extent that RA did. And I say all that as a person who rather listen to an RA album today than an Em album.
Apr 25, 2020 He is a better rapper today when compared with Eminem of today. How is that even a debate? The song stepdad was written for 7 yr old step children. Just bad music.
Apr 25, 2020 I disagree. If you listen to "The big snatch", you will say the same for RA. I guess anyone likes to make goofy music sometimes. Plus I don't get the hate for Stepdad, especially the hook which is a guilty pleasure of mine
Apr 25, 2020 I’d feel more embarrassed playing an RA song in public than I would playing an Eminem song
Apr 25, 2020 Not playing any of them in public in 2020 and was practicing social distancing around people who did long before COVID
Apr 25, 2020 Wait, so you are distancing yourself from people who listen to them in public, but you listen to them in private? So just the fact you hide that you listen to them makes you better than those who dont hide it?
