Jul 29, 2020 So Much Fun turns one year old a couple weeks from now. How do you feel about it a year removed? People here seem kinda mixed on it, but most people I know outside of the forum liked it (for ref, both critical and user response to the album currently sit at a 7.9/10 on metacritic—shout out jazz and @beksy). I'm curious if it's simply a vocal minority here or what. @ThuggerSXN
Jul 29, 2020 i cant remember even listening to it but the London was a dope single. Hot was cool too. Also liked the juice collab iirc. But I didn't like the album as a whole back then so my opinion on this isn't really up to date tbf
Jul 29, 2020 Loved this album when it dropped...Still feel the same about it to this day. It didn’t reinvent the wheel, but Thugger doesn’t need to do that anymore. It’s just him...having a good time, flexing his vocal chops and myriad of flows.
Jul 29, 2020 Couldn’t make it through half the album before turning it off. Haven’t really cared enough to revisit it.
Jul 29, 2020 I agree, it seems to be very well received in general which has always surprised me. It just does nothing for me weirdly.
Jul 30, 2020 The album honestly lasted a week for me, besides a few songs. I'm actually surprised my 4/10 is the lowest so far out of the serious votes, given how big of a fan I am of Thugger. I guess my expectations of him are quite high as I see the likes of Jeffery and BTG as modern hiphop classics.
Jul 30, 2020 Young Thug is terrible. A 1 rating is almost in the lead...haha. You have terrible taste in music if you enjoy him. Not sorry.
