    Growing up on the O’block in Chicago, it’s almost impossible to go to the store and not be armed. Chicago is known as the murder capital, the city that introduced Chief Keef and his Drill movement to the ears of millions across the country. Enter King Von, the 26-year-old protege to Lil Durk, whose storytelling is as violent as it is an art form that’s reminiscent of Outkast and Slick Rick. Just releasing his sophomore album, “Welcome to O’Block”, Von evolves his lyricism and his story-telling, creating an essential listening experience.
