Basically, I'm just looking for a cheaper alternative to AirPods. I'm sure there's some that are just as good but half the price out there. Obviously sound quality is somewhat important but it doesn't need to be on some audiophile s---—cheap panasonic wired earbuds have always worked fine for me cuz if I want the best of the best when it comes to sound quality I'd listen on speakers or my over-ear headphones.

@Slyk @Sign Language idk who knows tech here lol

I’ve owned a pair from the Jabra Elite line. They have multiple models. Zero complaints on my end.

i've been an airpods hater, but bit the bullet when needing to get new headphones...bought the 2nd iteration for like $45 from a friend. They work well, but are totally unnecessary and i still think you look like a d bag wearing them...plus no in-line volume rocker sucks a bit.

if interested, you could find some for cheap on craigslist or offerup. else, i duno what else is out there for competition

I'm basic I go with the AirPods Pro simply because I worked at the electronics department in Walmart for the longest time and couldn't pass up on the deals. Honestly though aside from the noise cancellation they're over priced and the previous version fit my ear 10 times better. I'd be able to casually listen to music for hours with them but now I only use the pros when I run/workout. A pair that I always wanted to try were the beats pro and 275/300 isn't bad but I always heard the volume to them was very low and after blowing out my ears with metal I can't have that.

I mostly want them because it's too hot here to wear my over-ear wireless headphones most of the time. I thought (and still do think) people are insane for paying so much for the apple branding...I was genuinely shocked when I found out these cost $150, $200+ a few years ago cuz I'd assumed they were like $60 bucks or something.

Lmao if that shocks you then you don’t even wanna know about the Apple over ear headphones. More than a PS5 lmao. Apple retained the Beats pricing model when they purchased them.

I've bought SONY WF-XB700B for my wife and believe me, they are decent as h---, deep bass, clear sound. They cost 399pln in here, which is like 100 dollars.

I'm actually genuinely interested in everyone's opinions here as well.

I sometimes wish I had a good pair of earbuds. I bought a few cheap ones from Amazon/Facebook in the past bit they were AWFUL.

I've heard good things about JBL but I wouldn't know model names or anything.

I'm looking for ones with good sound quality and are comfortable. Battery life not a huge issue as long as they have wireless charging.

Anker Soundcore Liberty Neo if you want cheap buds. I paid £19 for mine.

Anker are the best brand for price/quality ratio tbh.

There's no point in forking out for "premium" earbuds when they're limited by their size. You're better saving the money or investing it in other audio equipment.

Idk how anyone can wear earbuds, i’ve never in my life found a pair that didn’t cause my ears horrific pain after an hour or so and the sound quality is absolute s--- on even the best of them. I have airpods but I only use them in emergencies. Do yourselves a favor and get some good Bose noise cancelling headphones pls

I use Galaxy buds. Came with my last phone and they work great for calls and listening to music. Pretty sure they're around 100

I had a pair of Galaxy Buds that I unfortunately lost last month, so now I'm rocking Sennheiser's CX 350BT so that I can hook them around my neck or on my shirt collar and not lose them. Loving them so far!

Yup exactly—it's wild to me that people pay $100 let alone $250 for airpods lol. I ended up getting some $25 ones that @aquaberryares recommended. The sound quality in the $6 panasonic earbuds I buy on amazon are better than the sound quality on the apple earbuds that cost like $30 (and can only be plugged into f---ing iphones because of their stupid lightning port). Not to mention the apple ones are way more uncomfortable than the ones that soft/different sized earpieces to attach. I'd never buy Beats for that reason too—you're paying for the branding and can get better headphones for $100 less.

I have some noise-canceling sony headphones that I love, but like I said it's too hot to wear them here 80% of the year. Never had wireless earbuds before so I thought I'd try them out.
