Since Loki just ended I figured I should make a thread for the next MCU show.
Only reason I made this thread is because it's apparently canon or something so I guess It'll be important.

I honestly care less about this one since it's animated, I just want to continue with the MCU. That being said, that Captain Carter looks dope.

Didn't know anything about this. It looks...weird. Don't like animated stuff as it just feels cheap and a cash grab. But with the MCU Multiverse they could make it very interesting. I'm guessing each episode will be 5/10 mins very quickly recapping events of a certain story line and then branching off into a different scenario of what could've happened. Guessing there won't be any continuation between episodes.

It's ok I guess. A Captain Carter live action would have been way better

More entertaining than 95% of mcu content. Venom (2018) too for that matter. Yes I will die on this hill. At least suicide squad 2 and venom know they’re stupid action movies, most MCU films feel like they were made by the space jam 2 algorithm

super formulaic and trying to shove as many characters as possible in each movie. Over-saturation. CGI sensory overload. I’m really not trying to be a snob or anything, I understand the appeal of it and I think the concept of such an expansive shared cinematic universe is dope…but most of them feel so manufactured. A lot of them feel like they’re made first and foremost as a commodity for consumption rather than a piece of art.

The comic was great back in the day. I’ll definitely be watching this. Not sure if I like the animation style though. You’d think they’d have have something a bit better. Maybe it’ll grow on me.

If Spiderman with Tobey and Iron Man counts... Those are only 2 movies I saw.

I have no idea what's going on in MCU.

    I admire Scarlett Johansson tho.

I get it, they’re not for everyone. MCU was kind of built on characters crossing over, so the occasional ‘Hulk in a Thor movie’ isn’t too much, to me at least; as opposed to the 200 million dollar Avengers movies that boast ensemble casts.

Im actually in the opposite camp as far as CGI goes. The genre calls for it. I find it to be the best cgi that has ever been on screen literally ever, and they’re mostly consistent in that regard. A lot of the films are very well written, and some of the cinematography (Loki, gotg, dr strange) is beyond great.

I don’t blame anyone for not vibing with the MCU tho. After 20+ films it’s for sure overwhelming; especially if you don’t keep up. Personally, I think the MCU is about to lose a lot of viewership in the coming years.

I think with Disney plus they can experiment more. People are mostly enjoying shows like Loki, Wanda vision ect. They need something ground breaking as a show though. I really see the marvel universe expanding instead of losing viewers. They just have to find THAT show. Plus we just had a end of a 15 year long movie build. They have to change direction from avengers and that won’t be the easiest thing.

they need to get x men… x men series could be flames

If they start losing viewers, all they gotta do is call the Russo brothers and drop another big movie.

I ended so tired of the X Men, too many misses lately

I just think they’ll lose some viewership during this multiverse arc. If people are turned off of these projects because of how over saturated they are, they’re really not going to like 100 characters AND 100 variants of those characters lol. It’s just going to get messy.

Eh, disagree. Spidey about to give us another shocking moment with the Spider reunion. And they just made Scarlett Witch way more interesting and she has to get her kids back, there's so much stuff this opens the door for. I'm also in for a Captain Carter live action.

I just think we're in a weird moment. I loved Black Widow, but it dropped after she was dead already. Shang Chi looks like what Mortal Kombat should have been, and The Eternals, I don't even know what to expect, it just looks different. I also found Black Falcon America and Loki boring as h---. So it's all about Spidey for me right now, and Hawkeye series too.

And Venom 2 still looks cheap, just like Morbius, but those aren't really Marvel.
