Apr 15, 2015 Listening to all these gems from Charles Hamilton's back catalog and I realized that it's too late for Charles to REALLY make a comeback. I mean maybe he'll get some shine and his money straight (which he absolutely deserves) but g.d. he's not gonna blow up like he could've. Mentally unstable Chamilton would absolutely flourish in 2015. Crazy next level beats with samples from 90s videogames, 2000s top 40 pop and rock? Thats the s--- now. People eat it up like pasketti. An obsession with Sonic the Hedgehog and pink attire would go a long way in a Post-thugger internet rap sector (not to mention getting a piece of all the goodwill Cam'Ron rides off of for popularizing the s---). Plus his skillfull lyricism would appease the old heads and "real hip hop" connoisseur alike. He'd be a critical darling. Oh, AND he's f---ing insane? d--- he'd be a hit. Imagine him posting about the pope and mario trying to molest him on instagram instead of an obscure blogspot. Feeding the streets with mixtapes every month or two with no quality dips..... s---. He got better but lost the most interesting things about him. He looks dead in his eyes now.

Apr 15, 2015 I know what you mean about his energy being toned down a little from the meds but come on man, don't be a f---ing downer. Charles is crazy talented as a rapper and musician and he's got a good label behind him from what i can see. He's not gonna be the next Drake but the dude will definitely succeed and I'll be there to buy his s--- when it drops. He seems happy now and that's what matters most.
Apr 15, 2015 DEFINITELY willing to buy any album he drops, dude has given me like 20 albums for free. I'm really hoping he uses the label contract to do a lot more producing, even for other artists.
Apr 15, 2015 To be honest, I only read forum threads about the dude and how he was very mentally unstable, droppin his video game themed mixtapes here and there. Never listened to one track because I was turned off by (what I assumed was) a gimmick. Just copped the Empire soundtrack, he's on a track. Wasn't special but maybe that's because it's strictly for this soundtrack. I'm willin to check him out though...
