    My family are planning invest in a system for our TV. Our budget is around 250-300 pounds. Anyone have any suggestions, my dad wants them to be wireless to. However are wired systems or wireless systems better? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

    With that kind of budget you're not going to be able to get anywhere near the best so I'd either just go with the best deal you can find or opt for a soundbar instead. You'll get better sound out of a mid range sound bar than you would a low end 5.1 system.

    Gonna say about that same. If u want good wireless that's a couple grand already
