Jul 5, 2015 Even though it's a reference track, it's still pretty solid - I've always digged this. Pretty cool to hear a collaboration between Em and Nas too
Jul 5, 2015 Yeah, there's several versions that leaked I believe T.I.'s verse was a reference track for Dre as well
Jul 5, 2015 Definitely. It's pretty obvious that all of the verses on that song were made for Dre because of the references to California and Compton and The Chronic. It's pretty cool to hear a little bit of what goes on behind the scenes on a Dre song.
Jul 5, 2015 The OG crack a bottle with two dre reference verses is also very interesting. Imagine if he does this for every song
Jul 5, 2015 This is really cool! Thanks for sharing. I've never heard the last verse, which was obviously meant for Dre. I can see why he chose the verse that made the final song. I can image that this sort of thing happens a lot. Dre makes the beat, has a feature, and the other rapper(s) ghost write his verse and show him how to rap it. Edit: It would be really cool to hear a version of I Need A Doctor where Eminem raps Dre's verse that he obviously ghost-wrote for him.
Jul 5, 2015 Knowing Dre's track record it actually happened I can't imagine how embarrassed Dre would be if that leaked
Jul 5, 2015 I liked the version without Eminem better tbh. That was a f---ing classic beat, and IMO he just didn't fit the vibe of it, like at all. Nas however knew exactly what the f--- he was doing when he was spitting.
Jul 5, 2015 I just hate the fact Nas never did a real song with Eminem. "Eminem killed me on my own shyt". Oh well
Jul 7, 2015 Always really really liked Nas verse Your skins a travelling bag of your existence yours is shabby and scabbed while mines glistening
