Imo relapse has got to be the best horrorcore album ever made. I hear people say a lot of bad things about this album. I would like to know why people hate this album an why they love it. Is there a horrorcore album that is better than relapse? If there is, could someone name one? I just love how the whole album is kind of like the life and times of a deranged, silence of the lambs type murderer. What are peoples opinions of the album if we look at it as horrorcore approach and not focus on the fact that its not an Eminem that we heard before this album?

True, but I still respect this album more in a horrorcore genre because of how its like a whole story throughout the whole album, To me it seems like all the songs go together from the life an death of one character.

There are only 3-4 songs on Relapse (not counting Refill tracks) that are remotely close to "horrorcore", so no, Relapse isn't even a horrorcore album.

It's just a weird album with an accent

Same song and dance, 3am, stay wide awake, hello, Insane, medicine ball, buffalo bill, must be the ganja, medicine ball? Those all sound very horrorcore to me, but that's my opinion. They all have to do with that same serial killer character and have the horror vibe an lyrics.

I think looking back now it's a good album but it being his first album after falling off the face of the earth for a few years people expected more and for him to probably talk about it instead we got a lot of random s--- with a accent

True, I use to hate this album just because of that reason. I just recently started listening to it again an I appreciate it a lot more now.

Lyrically it is fantastic and the production is 10/10 but content is abit strange but it's not a bad album and is always to revisit

Idk about "horrocore" but Relaspe is my favorite album after TES, SSLP, and MMLP obviously.

It had horrorcore-ish songs. But it's not a horrorcore album.

I love the production on Relapse. The Dark and strong Beats and skits are top notch. ( The Dr. West Skip is my fav skit oat )
Ems Flow and Lyrics on Relapse are great as well.

The only negative thing is his accent (sometimes) - W/o the accent Relapse would be an even better Album and a lot less annoying one. (after considerable time)
Dont get me wrong on Tracks like 3AM and Buffalo Bill it worked well.
Others say the content (serial killer,Psycho) is s---.
imo the content is purely a matter of taste, cause me and other dudes, even on S80, just love this Psycho talk etc.

Resume: Good Album with great production, flows and lyrics but some small flaws .

EDIT: And Relapse is Ems best "overall " produced Album.

EDIT2: SSLP is a slightly better "horrorcore" Album
