Jul 22, 2015 Would your opinion of Drake change? Which songs would you be most upset with being ghostwritten?
Jul 22, 2015 I don't like the idea of ghost writers. I hate it, however I know it's a part of music across all genres and at the end of the day I guess it really doesn't matter if the music is good
Jul 22, 2015 I guess it would be different if said artists was like "f--- the craft, I don't write s---. Get money f--- b------s etc etc" but they're not. Drake writes the majority of his lyrics I'd imagine so I can't see why ppl care if he didn't write a verse or whatever here and there. I'd like to think my favorite artists write all of their material and don't need help making hits but I know that that's not even remotely possible
Jul 22, 2015 I agree for the most part, but if it turns out to be more songs it will definitely change my perception of him as an artist a little bit.
Jul 22, 2015 if drake ghostwrites for others, does that mean someone ghostwrites for Drake's ghostwrite?
Jul 22, 2015 Yep. He wouldn't be one of the greatest rappers of this generation in my book anymore. I can't call someone who doesn't write their own lyrics a great rapper or artis. Maybe a great performer or singer but that's about it. I've gave Drake passes plenty of times (the Blackberry stunt among other things) but this might be the last straw if this ghostwriting stuff is confirmed to be true. To answer that other question, all of his AM/PM in City tracks and pretty much all of Take Care
