AKA The Rubix Cuban AKA Top Chef Celph Boyardee AKA The Motherfuckin' Landmine Lieutenant?
Saw his name mentioned by a few people along with myself in the best punchline rapper of all time thread a week or so ago...



Known as underground feature specialist, 'gun rapper' extraordinaire and king of punchlines, with one of the greatest baritone voices in hip hop... Part of both Army of The Pharoahs as well as Demigodz. Appearing on many songs with fellow popular rappers Apathy and Vinnie Paz, along with a solo interlude on Fort Minor's The Rising Tied, a hit album executive produced by Jay Z.

But Celph is far from the typical underground artist that talks about illuminati, reptilian blood, and aliens.... He has two very well received albums released in 2010 and 2011 that more people should have listened to -- Nineteen Ninety Now & Nineteen Ninety More , both of which are produced with Buckwild. He also has a 4-disc compilation of 75 or so of his features and unreleased tracks.

A lot of people denounce him as nothing more than a 'punchline rapper' whose good for a few lines...but a lot of people don't know that he has some great serious songs...like this beautiful tribute to the 90s.

Nah. I was heavy into Copywrite, Chino XL, Vakill, Cassidy, Big L, etc. Celph was always one of the best on the AOTP records.

I love celph titled. I don't listen to him as much as I used to but I still catch all his features and songs. I still consider him one of the greatest punchline rappers of all time. No place like chrome and the gatologue are both fantastic. I hope he eventually released another solo album. I have also heard he is a really nice dude so that adds to his street cred

I agree, I would really like another Celph Titled solo album...he & Apathy are planning to release another collaboration album next year.

Maybe check out one of his albums man, you might dig it.

i only like his album with buckwild but that is because of beats. never been a celph titled fan. he sounds like backpack version of h--- rell, but h--- rell is great

Glad to see other people here like Celph, I've only heard his music within the last few years after a good friend recommended Killmatic by Demigodz. There was something about his voice that caught my ear, listened to a few tracks and i instantly become a fan. Love his style.

And some of his punchlines are G.O.A.T.:

I too started listening to DGZ and AOTP a few years back-- Celph immediately stood out from the other MCs.
