Dec 15, 2015 I said to her there is a message board where there is a fair % of people who don't like his music, think he is overrated, hate the fact he is the highest selling and the most successful hip hop artist ever, hate the fact he is the most popular, famous, hyped up, medias darling etc When i told her she looked at me like i'm crazy and said to me u gotta be joking i thought everyone loves Eminem's music. She is basically a run of the mill hipster white girl from the suburbs her parents who don't like hip hop like Eminem's music, her sister likes his music, all her friends like his music, she said even her grand parents like his music. But i told her realistically not everyone gonna be a fan but she was still surprised Her exact words were she thinks his singing is so cute and sweet, she likes the 'emotions' in his music, she likes the catchiness, she likes his beats. And she said she has had a crush on him since she first came across who he was Even as an Em fan myself it made me think do so many and i mean a lot of these fans of him need a reality check? because in their world Eminem can't ever be questioned unless it's Relapse or h--- The Sequel or a song that doesn't suit their taste but everything else they under the impression literally everyone loves and has to love
Dec 15, 2015 Not sure where you're going with this. My parents dislike rap in general because to them, most rappers talk about "drugs, money, and b------s." Whether that's true or not is irrelevant but that's the reputation rap tends to have to the general public. They'll enjoy Eminem occasionally though. Not every song of course, but his deep songs, especially those with music videos, they love. He's a different artist, despite what people say on this forum, in the end he's just not in the same category.

Dec 15, 2015 Where i'm going is she was literally shocked there is a forum (this but others too) where there is people that don't love Eminem's music like she does let alone actually hate him So my main point is there is Em fans the majority infact where in their world Eminem is like a 'God' i use this term losley of course but basically in their settings their day to day life everyone they around is big fans they don't even know there is non Em fans. They under the impression everyone else literally likes him because he has alot of deep and catchy songs So i'm saying i do feel alot of his fans need that reality check they really do
