Have u ever come across anyone outside Section Eighty or the internet period that doesn't like the album? most people like catchy music it's a really catchy album. So i have not come across a person outside the internet that doesn't like or love the album. This is no stanning this just me telling it how it is

I will not not being up sales there's no need to it is 1 of the most popular albums ever that is stating the obvious your average run of the mill person likes an emotional song executed in a catchy way like Eminem executes them with a catchy hook, melody, a combination of pop and rap

Your average person listens to a song like Not Afraid that is what most people like a catchy hook a song were the hook is the foundation of the song, that type of catchy beat, melody, subject matter u don't even have to relate there are people who don't relate but just like those type of songs it makes them feel sappy yet it is catchy to them at the same time

So those who don;t like the album knowing u in the small minority knowing this what is so popular u ever feel u have to be more humble knowing u in the minority and the reality is Section Eighty the only outlet for u to not just state your dislike for Recovery but for Eminem in general

Above average album imo, has a couple gems, but it also has a couple completely trash tracks. MMLP2 is more complete to me.

Was cool to see Eminem rise to the top in this era again though. It had a lot of commercial success.

The majority of people I know prefer the new em to the old em. I don't get it but it's whatever. I don't hate his new music or anything.

Most people I know in real life don't follow music anywhere near as deeply as I do. 90% of the people I know are just casual music fans that only listen to what they hear on the radio or getting played in the club. 9/10 wouldn't even know what Recovery is if I asked them. All that aside though, Recovery is definitely his most commercially successful album since his comeback and LTWYL might be his most popular single ever. As you know, I still consider Recovery the best thing he's done since 8 Mile.

The difference is almost everyone i know prefers emotional Eminem over non emotional Eminem

Though they do love the non emotional songs like My Name Is, Real Slim Shady, Berzerk

So they love The Eminem Show and Recovery and songs like Mockingbird, Lose Yourself, Headlights, Stronger Than I Was, Rock Bottom on the other albums
