Mar 10, 2016 People seem to think that this should have been a free release as its only demo's and unmastered versions I can see where theyre coming from when - these tracks are not fully complete - each unmixed song is worth the same as a 'finished' song on tpab but still gets the vinyl and cd treatment so this begs the question, should kendrick be asking for money for this project, knowing it was unfinished edit - was it the right move releasing physicals?
Mar 10, 2016 I mean he shouldn't, but this s----s better than most projects out there with the same price. I ain't even mad tbh
Mar 10, 2016 i know his fans love it (i personally don't care for half of the songs) so they're prob willing to pay for it, i just feel like if you're going to charge for throwaways AT THEY VERY LEAST master them
Mar 10, 2016 see i kinda agree although i love the project, if it could have been better with someone mastering it before printing it on vinyl, that wouldve been great
Mar 10, 2016 I find it kind of protentious asking your fans to pay for unfinished and unmastered tracks.
Mar 10, 2016 What do you guys think Aftermath/Interscope is going to do when Eminem dies? I don't think they'll release unreleased music to the fans just for fun. It's all about the $$$.
Mar 10, 2016 i think this is the general feeling going around i get why people feel that way, it is strange
Mar 10, 2016 You can tell hip hop is such a young genre when a thread like this is made. Like someone said before, artists been doing this for decades..for several reasons.
Mar 10, 2016 You seem to forget a very important point: this is the very first project to be released on all streaming services at the same time since the new rules You didn't have to pay to listen to it, it was in option.
