    Gates has become one of the best rappers alive right now fresh off of dropping his studio album ISLAH.     Sounds like a lot of people on here f--- with his new album, but you never really hear anything about him on SXN80.

    I also think he's beyond dope. A weird guy, but awesome rapper.

    I only got into him a little while ago but he's great.

    You're definitely right about him having radio-ready material. Unfortunately a lot of it is too vulgar.

    I think that whole weird vibe brings him on another level as an artist personally but that's just me.. And yea I haven't seen much about him on here..

    All that matters is that you're awake now I for sure recommend checking out his Luca brasi projects all of them have extreme replay value

    I been rocking with Gates since the first Luca Brasi dropped in 2013. Neon Lights and IDGAF put me on right away back then, seems that he is finally getting more attention which is great.

    I been following him for around that time also maybe early 2014 though and yea its nice to see artist you enjoy grow.

    Yeah I came across Neon Lights on YT once and loved it right away. One of the best rappers alive right now to be honest.



    He's so good at making songs that could be on the radio but simply makes them too vulgar like BC said.

    Which is what surprised me about his past few loosies even you can say that two phones was extremely toned down for a Kevin gates track so the fact that it didn't get played out is so weird to me.. Starting to think that khaled is right they don't want Kevin to be successful
